During Autodesk® Civil 3D® testing, we found a Civil 3D command that automatically creates multiple viewports in the Civil 3D model space. It can be practical if you have a drawing with plan, profile view and cross-sections and if you want to create a viewport for each object.
Type APPLYCIVILVIEWPORTS into the command line:

If you want to revert back to a single viewport, you can type the following sequence into the command line:
-vports ENTER
si ENTER (si stands for single viewport)
